East Central Region invites you attend their presentation of four mandatory continuing education courses this spring. This event will be held at FNA Headquarters in Orlando and will also be broadcasted via live webinar to the state. This is event is open to all members, non-members, and students.
Friday, March 8th
Refreshments will be provided courtesy of University of Texas at Arlington.
11:30am - 12:00n - Registration and Networking for Onsite Attendees.
12:00n - 2:00pm - Healthcare Errors presented by Willa Fuller, BSN, RN
2:00pm - 2:30pm - Break
2:30pm - 4:30pm - Human Trafficking: Healthcare Providers Making a Difference presented by Joy Parchment, PhD, RN
Saturday, March 9th
9:30am - 10:00am - Registration and Networking for Onsite Attendees.
10:00am - 12:00n - Laws and Rules of the Board presented by Edward Briggs, DNP, MSN, APRN
12:00n - 12:30pm - Break. Light lunch and refreshments provided by the East Central Region.
12:30pm - 2:30pm - Recognizing Impairment in the Workplace presented by Willa Fuller, BSN, RN
When registering, you will select the courses you want to attend and indicate whether you'll attend in person (limited seats available) or online.
You have the option of attending a single course or more. You receive discounts for the more courses you attend.
- One Course - $15 Member / $20 Non-Member
- Two Courses - $25 Member / $35 Non-Member
- Four Courses - $40 Member / $60 Non-Member
- Pre-licensure students may attend any of the sessions for free.
*Each of these courses have been approved by the Florida Nurses Association (CE Provider #50-3103) for 2.0 contact hours each in the appropriate subject area. You may attend individual courses to receive credit. There is no commercial support or conflict of interest for the planners or the presenters of this event.
