The Code of Ethics for Nurses

Webinar Presentation - January 30, 2020 - 6pm EST


This course will review the ANA Code of Ethics and its application in nursing practice. 

Learning Objectives

  • Identify the 9 Provisions of the Code of Ethics for Nurses (2015)
  • Apply the Code to nursing practice scenarios

This course has been submitted for approval of one (1) nurse contact hour to the Florida Nurses Association (CE provider # 50-3103)


Jean Davis, PhD, DNP, EdD, FNP-BC, PHCNS-BC

Dr. Davis currently serves as the Chair of the FNA Ethics Special Interest Group. She leads monthly meetings in which ethical considerations in nursing practice are examined. Dr. Davis is a nurse educator and FNP and CNS clinician. She applies the Nursing Code of Ethics to her daily practice and teaching nursing ethics to nursing students.
