What's On Tap in Tallahassee for the Florida Nurses Association

This is the last committee week before the start of the 2021-2022 Legislative Session. Here are some of the bills that they will consider:
Senate Commerce and Tourism will meet on Monday at 3:30 p.m. to discuss SB 72 Civil Liability for Damages Relating to COVID-19 as well as two sales tax holidays: Back to School and Disaster Preparedness Supplies.
Tuesday, February 16th the Senate Criminal Justice committee will hear SB 614 Assault and Battery on Hospital Personnel by Anna Maria Rodriguez. This committee begins at 9:00 a.m.
Also on Tuesday the House Judiciary will hear HB 7 Civil Liability for Damagers Relating to COVID-19 by Representative McClure. The meeting begins at 4:00p.m.
On Wednesday, the Senate Health Policy committee will meet at 9:00 a.m. to discuss bills including SB 700 Telehealth by Anna Maria Rodriguez.
Wednesday in the House Health & Human Services Committee will meet to discuss PCB HHS 21-01 Health Care Civil Liability. The meeting begins at 4:00pm
Thursday, the Senate Rules Committee will hear SB 78 Dues and Uniform Assessments at 9:00a.m.
Also on Thursday, the House Government Operations Subcommittee will hear GOS1 Nurse Licensure Compact. The meeting starts at 10:00a.m.
Other Meetings of Interest:
On Monday the House Public Integrity & Elections Committee will meet to hear a presentation on integrity of research institutions including foreign donations to public entities. The meeting takes place at 1:30 p.m.
