About the Foundation

The Florida Nurses Foundation exists to promote nursing and delivery of healthcare through the advancement of research, education and practice. Each year, funds are provided to registered nurses and students for scholarships and research grants.

Mission: In support of the mission of the Florida Nurses Association, the Florida Nurses Foundation (FNF) promotes optimal health care for Florida citizens through prudent stewardship of entrusted funds and through creative philanthropy focused on outcomes that support and advance the profession of nursing.

The initiatives of the Foundation are to:

Development financial support for research
Advance knowledge of the nursing profession
Encourage nursing research and career development
Assist nurses in need
