Call for Speaker Proposals
The Florida Nurses Association (FNA) is seeking knowledgeable and engaging speakers for upcoming webinars, special events, and mandatory educational courses. If you have valuable insights to share, we invite you to submit your proposal below.
Speaker Opportunities Available:
- Webinars & Online Events – Present virtually on relevant nursing topics to support professional development and practice.
- Mandatory Educational Courses – Help fulfill essential continuing education (CE) requirements for Florida nurses.
- Regional Events & Conferences – Speak at local and statewide FNA conferences, symposiums, or networking events.

- Innovations in Practice & Advancements in Healthcare Technology
- Healthcare Legislation & Health Policy
- Well-being, Personal Health & Self-Care
- Early Career Advice & Navigating Transitions into Practice
- Emerging Public Health Issues
- Nursing Research & Evidence-Based Practice
- Mandatory CE Topics (e.g., Human Trafficking, FL Nursing Laws and Rules, Prevention of Med Errors, etc.)
- Additional Topics Relevant to Nursing Practice and Professional Development
Selection and Speaker Requirements
- Priority Consideration: FNA members will receive first priority for selection as speakers. Not a member? Join today!
- Review Process: Proposals will be reviewed by the program planning team. If your presentation aligns with a particular program, FNA staff will contact you for scheduling.
- Continuing Education Requirements: Most presentations will be submitted for nurse contact hours. Selected speakers must complete required CE documentation, including a conflict of interest form and learning objectives.
- Course Administration Fee: FNA charges a nominal fee to participants for most presentations to cover the costs associated with administering the course.
