Members of the Florida Nurses Association will return to Tallahassee on January 19-20, 2022 to advocate for nursing issues in the Florida Legislature. The annual Advocacy Days conference empowers nurses to become advocates for their profession through education on pending legislation, guidance on communication techniques, and direct contact with their elected legislators. This is a critical Legislative Session for healthcare-related issues. It is imperative that nurses' voices are heard in the ongoing debates surrounding healthcare in the state of Florida. Without a unified voice, the nursing perspective is lost. FNA members, future members, and nursing students are encouraged to join their colleagues and advocate on behalf of the profession. More information about attending the conference can be found at www.floridaunurse.org/AdvocacyDays.
