Florida Nurses Foundation Relaunches Fund to Support Nurses Impacted by Hurricanes

October 11, 2024 — In response to the devastation caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the Florida Nurses Foundation has reactivated its Hurricane Relief Fund to provide financial assistance to nurses impacted by these disasters. The fund is offering small grants to help nurses in Florida who are facing urgent financial hardship as they recover from the storms.

How to Apply for Assistance:

Nurses affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton are encouraged to apply for grants through the Hurricane Relief Fund. To qualify, applicants must be licensed nurses who have experienced significant financial impact due to the hurricanes.

To apply, visit www.floridanurse.org/NursesInNeed and complete the Hurricane Relief Fund application form. Nurses in need of immediate financial support can apply for a grant to assist with housing, food, utilities, and other urgent needs.
