Make Your Voice Heard in Tallahassee

Advocacy is at the heart of nursing, and the Florida Nurses Association invites you to take part in shaping the future of our profession at 2026 FNA Advocacy Days. This annual event brings nurses from across the state to Tallahassee to connect with legislators, learn about the legislative process, and speak up for the issues that matter most to nurses and patients.

For more than 20 years, nurses have been recognized as the most trusted profession. That trust gives our voices powerful influence with lawmakers—and Advocacy Days is your opportunity to use that credibility to drive meaningful change in health policy.

During the 2026 Legislative Session, FNA will continue championing protections from surgical smoke exposure and other key workplace safety initiatives, along with additional legislative priorities that emerge from the Membership Assembly reference proposals.

Whether you’re new to advocacy or a returning participant, Advocacy Days offers an inspiring, hands-on look at how laws are made and how nurses can make an impact. Your expertise, compassion, and real-world experience bring a vital perspective to every conversation.

Don’t Miss Out
