The Miracle of Nursing: Exploring the Science of Caring

The past year has brought unprecedented challenges for the nursing community. We have watched nurses respond with exemplary courage, extraordinary knowledge and skill, and immeasurable compassion and creativity. At the 2021 FNA Membership Assembly, we want to spotlight the incredible work that nurses do everyday by exploring the profession of nursing through the intersection of science and caring.

Augst 30, 2021 - FNA Member Rebate Amount Increased

All FNA Members who attend the full conference including the Saturday Business Meeting will receive a $225 rebate from their FNA Region. In addition, Premier Members will receive another $50 back from ANA. Check out the cost savings below!

August 23, 2021 - In-Person Event Cancelled - Conference Going Fully Virtual

The FNA Board of Directors has decided to cancel the in-person portion of our upcoming Membership Assembly due to the continued effects of the pandemic on nurses and citizens of Florida. The Board feels this decision is the most prudent course of action in protecting our members and avoiding the potential spread of COVID-19. Existing in-person registrations will automatically be converted to virtual. The event will be converted to a fully virtual conference, which we hope will allow more members to attend. We have held four highly successful virtual conferences over the last year and look forward to providing another thought-provoking and engaging experience for our members.

Award Nominations
Deadline for Submission: June 30, 2021

Recognize a nurse who excels, leads, and innovates through their exemplary courage, community service, advocacy, research and innovation, and years of commitment to the profession. Both members and non-members will be considered for the 2021 FNA Icon Awards. Nominees and award winners will be recognized at the 2021 FNA Membership Assembly. Deadline for all Nominations is June 15, 2021. You will be notified of the status of your nomination and given the opportunity to share the good news of your nominee's acceptance if they are selected. Learn More

Abstracts for Poster Presentation
Deadline for Submission: July 30, 2021

The FNA Board of Directors is committed to supporting and showcasing colleagues conducting nursing research. FNA members are invited to submit abstracts for a poster presentation at the FNA Membership Assembly to be held on September 23-25, 2021 at the Howey-in-the-Hills Resort, Mission Inn, FL. Abstracts will be peer-reviewed by members of The Research Special Interest Group. Submissions are due by Friday, July 30, 2021. Download the Abstract Submission Guidelines

Reference Proposals
Deadline for Submission: August 1, 2021

The FNA Reference Committee needs your help in identifying pertinent issues for FNA to add to their priority agenda. Reference Proposals are reviewed, discussed and revised during the Membership Assembly for consideration of adoption by the Assembly. The deadline for submission of Reference Proposals is August 1.
