About the Conference

The purpose of this conference is to promote and disseminate nursing research and evidence-based practice improvement projects that are being conducted in diverse academic, clinical, and/or community settings throughout Florida.

The Florida Nurses Association is proud to promote the practice of Nursing Research and the work of all levels of nurse researchers. Our goal is to create a forum where experienced researchers can serve as role models and mentors, and potential and novice researchers can hone their skills and receive mentoring and support from their more seasoned colleagues.

Submit an Abstract for Poster or Podium Presentation

Deadline for abstract submissions is Monday, May 8.

Benefits and Value to Presenting Your Projects and/or Research:

Associate your name with your specific topic/research/project

Eligibility:

Nursing research and evidence-based practice projects are eligible for podium and poster presentation.
Research and evidence-based practice projects conducted in practice and/or as part of educational endeavors are eligible for podium and poster presentation.
Research and evidence-based practice projects must be completed by time of submission to be eligible for podium presentations.
In-progress and completed projects are eligible for poster presentations.
Literature reviews and concept analyses and similar will be considered for poster presentations.
Nursing students are eligible and encouraged to submit.

Please follow all instructions in the Abstract Submission Guidelines. All abstracts should be submitted as a word document with an accompanying abstract submission form (included in the packet below).

Continuing Education

The conference will be submitted for approval of contact hours by the Florida Nurses Association (#50-3103). Attendees must sign in upon arrival and provide their RN/APRN license number. Attendance at the entire event and submission of a post-activity evaluation are required to receive CE. No partial credit will be given. Number of contact hours will be contigent upon approval and will not be less than 5 contact hours.
